Singing Heart Arts
Upcoming Workshops

There will be a whole lot of singing and ukulele workshops in 2025. I'm just scheduling the concerts and workshops now. Sign up to my newsletter to get updates. I only send newsletters intermittently when there's something to share.
Zensong
This is a happy sing, a combination of deep relaxation, gentle yoga inspired movement and singing, that aims to help you have fun, connect with, and love, your beautiful, unique voice.
There are no auditions, all that's required is an ability to enjoy yourself, go with the flow and see the good in your fellow singers.
You will be inspired, stimulated and respected. It will be fun, I promise. The best performances come from a combination of skill and love. We'll build both of these.

I offer a few short sessions to help people get started with their ukulele playing, this can culminate in a concert where I play some of my original ukulele songs and you playalong with the songs we've covered in the worksop. It's a lot of fun. While these are aimed at beginner players there's some advanced lead sections for experienced players.

Workshop F.A.Q.
Q: Do I need to be able to sing?
A. If you can talk you can sing. Don't fret, I'll show you.
Q.Do I need my own ukulele?
A. I have some I can lend people for the workshop. Bring your own if you've got one, but use mine if you need to.
Q. Will I have to sing by myself?
A. Not unless you have a burning desire to do so.
Q. DO I have to perform. A.You will be invited to join if we are performing, but it is an invitation, not an expectation, if you don't want toperform, don't.
Q. My teacher in grade three said I was tone deaf but I love to sing. Can I come along?
A. Please do, I'd love to meet you. It's also possible your grade 3 teacher didn't know better.
Q: Can men come along too?
A. Yes please.
Q. Do I have to linedance?
A. No, but wear loose comfy clothing as we'll stretch and move a bit.
Q.Do I have to dress up?
A. No, but don't hold back if that's your thing.
Q. What should I bring?
A. Loose clothes, a water bottle, a pen and a lovely writing book. Also useful is a spirit of adventure and an open heart.
